Hydraulic Crimping Tools
  • U type crimping head ideally suited for working in confined spaces and on underground cable joints.
  • Head can accept:
    • Copper hex dies
    • Indent copper nest dies
    • Aluminium deep stepped indent dies
    • Rounding dies for sector shaped cables
  • Most versitile crimping head available for all types of cable crimping

Notes:

1. It can be seen that the same container die and indent point are used on a range of sizes. This is due to the fact that the fittings have the same outside diameter and merely different bores.

2. The ME series of container dies is used for ferrules on cables less than 11kV rating.  Also used on all lugs.

3.  The MBM series of container dies is used for ferrules on cables which have a rating up to 36kV.
